As Scrum enthusiast you may already heard, that new version of Scrum Guide is coming this autumn. Why do I think it is interesting?
I see the value of communities – when you want to start long distance running, probably the best thing you can do is to find local community of runners and join their trainings. Interestingly there is a community of Scrum practitioners associated by scrum.org with focus not only to sell trainings but also to monitor how Scrum framework is used and to improve the framework itself – so to inspect and adopt the framework itself.
For instance in 2016 these people added Scrum Values paragraph to the Scrum Guide – today it is obvious that any Scrum implementation is dead with people who doesn’t value openness, focus, courage, respect and commitment.
Full Scrum Guide revision history here. Some more to come this autumn 2020!
Another interesting note – Ken Schwaber also use WordPress for blogging. He was first, to be honest 🙂
